Middle School Audition & Conference Timeline
2026-2027
General Information: The fee is $20 per student/per instrument. Checks must be made to WEST VIRGINIA BANDMASTERS ASSOCIATION. Our guest conductor for 2027 is Dr. Robert Sheldon!
10/10/2026: Audition fee DEADLINE. All ON TIME payments must be postmarked by this date. Any audition applications postmarked after this date will incur a $30 per student/per instrument fee.
10/17/2026: Audition late fee DEADLINE. All LATE payments must be postmarked by this date. Absolutely no audition applications will be accepted after this date.
11/21/2026: Audition video DEADLINE. Student videos can be uploaded at any time BEFORE this date. Submissions will be done via Google Form. The link will be sent out no later than 11/6.
12/12/2026: Middle School All-State Band personnel will be notified on this date and music will be sent to the directors. The personnel list will be published here for the public.
03/04/27: Middle School All-State Band Conference check-in and rehearsals at the Charleston Civic Center.
03/05/27: Middle School All-State Band PERFORMANCE in the Charleston Civic Center North Hall at 5:00 pm.
